My Children Mean Everything to Me
a witness of Mark Prophet and the ascended
masters by Dorothy Angleton
I joined Mark and Mother’s
staff many years ago and helped with a lot of cooking duties, as
well as with the children. One afternoon, I went out with my friend
Ruth Jones and two of the children to buy school clothes. We were
looking for different kinds of long underwear and had gone to several
stores. At one point, I asked Ruth what time it was and she told
me it was time to go home. I told her I still needed to get four
pairs of undershirts in this one store and then we would hurry home.
That is what we did.
When I got to the gate, someone told me, “Dorothy,
Mark wants to see you right away.” I had only gotten a few
hundred yards and a second person told me Mark was waiting for me
in the master suite. As I was racing up the stairs, a third person
told me I was urgently wanted. “Yes, I know.” I said.
Then a fourth person told me, “You better hurry in there.”
“Oh brother, “ I thought. “I’m
probably going to get fired.” I calmed myself down and Florence
opened the door.
“Mark, it’s Dorothy,” she said. “Okay,”
he replied, “have her come in.”
Mark said to me, “I’m glad you’re
here. You can sit down,” and continued his conversation with
Florence and Alex Reichardt. I was still nervous.
Then Mark turned to me and said, “Dorothy,
I have a message for you. My children mean everything to me. They
are my life and I love them dearly and when they don’t come
home, I worry so deeply. You should have called. Please remember
my children have to be at home at 5 o’clock.”
“Yes,” I told him. “I will always
remember.”
